Metal die-cast chassis. Model in true to the original livery and lettering. Drive on 4 wheels. LED headlights that change over with the direction of travel. The eed LED tail light on the right can be switched off. Automatic coupling on both ends of the vehicle. The model is equipped with a load sensing DCC decoder from factory.
The 169 005-6 is the smallest electric locomotive in Gauge N that Fleischmann has ever produced. It is characterized by absolute dimensional accuracy and many separately applied parts. The deep red colour (RAL 3004) is typical for the epoch.The Deutsche Bundesbahn used the original on a regular basis until 1981.
